Last Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Center of Evaluation and Surgical Medical Training, the Student Group with Interest in the Surgical Field (GECIQ) in collaboration with the International Section of Undergraduate Students (SINESP), carried out its traditional suture workshop taught by Alejandro Quiroga Garza, DM; Professor of the Human Anatomy Department.

For the first time, the workshop that is accredited by the Asociación Mexicana de Médicos en Formación, A.C. (AMMEF) and the Federación Latinoamericana de Sociedades Científicas de Estudiantes de Medicina (FELSOCEM), was updated and taught in English due to the enrollment of different students from abroad.

In addition to students and members of GECIQ and SINESP, the following authorities were present at the opening of the workshop:

• Guillermo Jacobo Baca, DM; Secretary of Student-Affairs of the School of Medicine
