School of Medicine and University Hospital receive reaccreditation by the AAHRPP
As part of the recognition of excellence in research, our institution received accreditation from the AAHRPP agency
The Program of Research Subjects Protection of the School of Medicine and University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González” was endorsed with the highest quality in its processes by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). AAHRPP promotes high-quality research through an accreditation process that helps organizations around the world strengthen their human research protection programs.
This program guarantees that the participants in research projects met and complied with world-class standards in medical care; in this institution includes the more than 850 projects that are developed in collaboration with researchers and national and international centers in the area of drugs and medical devices.
This reaccreditation places us in the list of the top 200 universities that conduct clinical research because the protocols are carried out safely and with informed and voluntary participation.
The validity of the program was renewed in 2022 with a validity until September 2027, highlighting that we continue to be the only Institution in Latin America accredited by this association.
