Beginning of the Induction Courses for first-year students
The students experienced a week of informative talks and recreational activities
Last Monday, July 25, 2022, the week of Courses of Induction began, in person, for first-year students of the Bachelors of Medical Surgeon-Obstetrician and Chemistry Clinical-Biologist of our institution. The purpose of the foregoing is to disseminate the operation and school support of the different subdirectorates, secretariats and coordination that School of Medicine has for all students.
The main authorities who attended to welcome and talk with the new students, as well as secretaries, coordinators and heads of administrative departments, were:
- Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Principal of the School of Medicine and University Hospital "Dr. José Eleuterio González"
- Rodrigo Enrique Elizondo Omaña, DSc; Vice-Principal of Undergraduate Studies of the Bachelor of Medical Surgeon-Obstetrician
- Paula Cordero Pérez, DSc; Vice-Principal of Undergraduate Studies of the Bachelor of Chemist Clinical-Biologist
- Guillermo Jacobo Baca, DM; Secretary of Student-Affairs of the School of Medicine

In addition to all the informative talks, on July 28 and 29, the first-year students participated in a tour of the facilities of the School of Medicine and in the traditional Rally carried out by the Secretary of Student-Affairs and the Student Society, in order to promote healthy coexistence among entrants through sports, cultural and recreational activities.
