Second edition of MEDCAMP

Sixty people registered in MEDCAMP concluded another edition with tours, classes, workshops and laboratories

This Friday, July 23, the closing of the second edition of MEDCAMP which took place in the facilities of the Faculty of Medicine since last Monday, July 19 and throughout the week. Unlike the first edition, this time there were two dozen more registered, which strengthened the planning and tools to provide a program of activities at the level of the Institution.

The activities to which the almost 60 registered were given, were the following:

  • Human Anatomy Class and Laboratory
  • Vital Signs Workshop
  • Embryology class
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Workshop
  • Airway Obstruction Workshop
  • Bandage Workshop
  • Suture Workshop
  • Physiology Workshop
  • COVID-19 Class
  • Visit to the Museum of Embryology and Museum Room
  • Tour of the facilities

In this way, and respecting the health security measures, the students got to know a large part of the facilities of the Faculty of Medicine, and learned about the experience of being a medical student being instructed by the same students, fellows, interns and interns in social service. The Subdirectorate of Undergraduate Studies of the Medical Surgeon and Obstetrician Degree is grateful for the support provided during the first and second edition of MEDCAMP to the Departments of Human Anatomy, Embryology, Physiology, Introduction to the Clinic, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, to the Center of Evaluation and Medical-Surgical Training, to the staff of the “Dr. Ángel Óscar Ulloa Gregori”, as well as the SEASE student groups: Medicine Fraternity, GECIQ, Mediglee and Logistics.
