Campaign "Dona Sangre, Dona Vida 2018"
The blood donation campaign was carried out in the frontispiece of the School during this year
For the eighth consecutive year, with the support of the Sub-Directorate of Undergraduate Studies of the Faculty of Medicine and the Secretariat of Student Affairs through GESTIMED and the QUILUD group in coordination with the Department of Clinical Pathology and with the support of the Mobile Unit of Blood Donation of the State Blood Center of Nuevo León (CETS NL), took the Altruistic Blood Donation Campaign 2018 from October 22 to 25, under the name of: "Donate Blood, Donate Life"
This activity is also within the framework of the 70th Anniversary celebrations of the Biologist Clinical Chemistry Degree. Thus fulfilling the objective, to encourage altruism in the student community and the administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine and the Dr. José Eleuterio González University Hospital.
On this occasion the mobile blood donation unit was requested, which was located in the frontispiece of the Faculty of Medicine, to carry out this activity.
RESULTS OBTAINED
- 123 donors in total.
- 200 blood group typifications were performed.
- 123 donors were added to the list of altruistic donors.
