From October 2 to 5 of this year, the thirtieth edition of the National Congress of Research and Innovation in Medicine was successfully held. The main axis focuses on "Knowledge and Innovation Transforming Medicine".

The inauguration was before a Multipurpose Auditorium full of attendees, among whom were professors, medical assistants from other instances, and students of our institution, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This event was held simultaneously in two venues: Cintermex and the Faculty of Medicine.

En el acto se encontraba el Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Director de la Facultad de Medicina y Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González”, quien enfatizó que esta generación de médicos tendrá una serie de retos relacionados con la tecnología y gracias a la innovación llegamos más lejos.

También acompañó el Santos Guzmán López, DM; Secretario General de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, la Consuelo Treviño Garza, DM; Vice-Secretary of Prevention and Diseases Control of the State of Nuevo León, the José Gerardo González González, DM; Subdirector de Investigación, el Rodrigo Enrique Elizondo Omaña, DSc; Subdirector de Estudios de Pregrado de la Licenciatura de Médico Cirujano y Partero, el Felipe Arturo Morales Martínez, DM; Subdirector de Estudios de Posgrado y el Marco Antonio Hernández Guedea, DM; Vice-Principal of Hospital Assistance.

During those four days of the Congress, interesting conferences were held with national and international research exponents, symposiums on topics of global relevance, workshops, courses, and student work exhibitions.
