Recognition of Teaching Career and Retired Professors 2022
In the ceremony, the teaching work of 64 professors was recognized and 7 professors who retired from the Institution were distinguished
On the morning of this Saturday, October 22, 2022, the Ceremony of Recognition for Teaching Career and Retired Professors from the different departments and services of the School of Medicine and University Hospital "Dr. José Eleuterio González" was held in the Polyvalent Auditorium of the School of Medicine. The event is held within the University Hospital Week and the celebrations for Doctor's Day.
A total of 64 professors were recognized for their teaching work for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years. In addition, 7 professors obtained their retirement in the period from October 2021 to September 2022:
- Raquel Guadalupe Ballesteros Elizondo, DSc; 31 years of service
- Carlos Enrique de la Garza González, DM; 37 years of service
- Dr. Eduardo Méndez Espinosa; 34 years of service
- Dr. Nancy Esthela Fernández Garza; 36 years of service
- Víctor Armando Támez Rodríguez, DSc; 32 years of service
- Dora Elia Cortés Hernández, DM; 28 years of service
- Dr. Félix Martínez Lazcano; 42 years of service
This ceremony was presided over by Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Principal of the School of Medicine and University Hospital "Dr. José Eleuterio González".
