Through the 8th edition of the National Contest of Rondallas "Puebla de Antaño" it was like the group of the Rondalla Manly of the Faculty of Medicine and some members of it became creditors in different categories to the first places of the contest held in the Theater Sacred City in Cholula, Puebla on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2019.

The awards obtained were the following:

• First place for the Rondalla Men's Medicine in Special Category.
• Recognition for Sebastián Galván Godínez (7th semester) in the Best Bassist Category.
• Recognition for Gerardo Caballero (10th semester), Jorge Magallanes (9th semester) and Juan Manuel Briones (6th semester) in the Best Requintos Category.

The students of the cultural group made public their thanks to the authorities of the Faculty of Medicine for the support provided and the trust that has been placed in them and also to their Arranger, Master Manuel Sánchez Villalobos, who was with them preparing them for the competition.
