Dialogues with Coffee: Armando Alanís, founder of Acción Poética
During an afternoon of talk, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the artist's work

On this occasion, they had the participation of the author, poet and culture promoter Armando Alanís, who also has more than 25 published books, has been a teacher and writes opinion columns.
During the talk, the students were asking questions about Alanís' trajectory, but without a doubt, one of the projects that causes more conversation is Poetic Action. Surely most have had contact with these messages written in white walls of the city, with capital letters.
Armando is the founder of this movement and began in 1996, since then, he has not stopped and does not plan to do so. With these "actions" he wants to bring some poetry and reading to more people. Something that works quite well, reaching other countries.
At the end of the conversation, the artist painted a mural at the Faculty (located at the entrance of the CRIDS Library) with the message YOU ARE MY MEDICINE.
