Last Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 8:00 a.m., a civic ceremony was held on the Esplanade of the Rectory Tower where the Honors to the Flag were performed and the Mexican National Anthem was sung for the 212th Anniversary of the beginning of the Independence of Mexico. The event was headed by Santos Guzmán López, DM; Rector of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.

Through the students, professors and coordinators, the School of Medicine was present at the civic event where there were also different folklore samples from the country and regional music, traditional symbols of Mexican culture.
