The German agency ASIIN (for its acronym in English Accreditation Agency for Degree Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics) was seen in the facilities of the Faculty as part of the process of international accreditation of the Biological Clinical Chemistry Degree.

In May 2018, the self-assessment report was sent. Between November 19 and 22, the Evaluation Committee composed of professors was received: Dr. Thomas Reinheckel, from the University of Freiburg, Germany; Prof Hans Jurgen Duchstein, University of Hamburg, Germany; Prof Hans Kuhn, Altona Diagnostics, Hamburg, Germany; Dr. Martin Foerster, Germany, representative of the accrediting agency and MC Brenda Susana Luna-Flores, Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, as representative of Mexico.

During their visit they reviewed the documentary material, had interviews with university authorities, authorities of the Faculty of Medicine, responsible for the QCB Degree, students, academic staff and employers; They also visited the facilities.

En la sesión de cierre ante el Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Director de la Facultad de Medicina y Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González”, y autoridades universitarias presentaron un predictamen, en el cual nos felicitaron por la excelente organización del material que se presentó: asimismo dijeron haber encontrado que la licenciatura tiene altos niveles de calidad y organización y comentaron que era muy evidente el alto compromiso de estudiantes, personal académico y empleadores con los propósitos de la licenciatura.
