La Chona Brigade

The young university students, in addition to providing health services, delivered food donated by the university community

Medical assistance brigade "Tigers to the rescue of La Chona"

Students of faculties and high schools of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, conducted a medical - assistance brigade through the Tigres al Rescate program for the benefit of families from the La Ascensión community, also known as “La Chona” in the municipality of Aramberrri, NL

Young university students, in addition to providing health services, delivered food donated by the university community and organized recreational activities for people in vulnerable situations in this community.

The brigade organized by the Directorate of Student Activities, visited the community "La Chona" for three days, from April 20 to 22.

The meeting point was at Benito Juárez High School where the food collected was distributed.

Tigres al Rescate started in 2005 and, every year students go to the most vulnerable communities and offer free health services and other activities.

On the part of the Faculty of Medicine, 16 students attended who provided medical care - assistance to low-income families in the community.
