Distinguished Postgraduate Students Recognition 2022
56 postgraduate students were recognized for obtaining the first place of the specialties, subspecialties, masters and doctorates in the last year
At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022, the Ceremony of Recognition for Distinguished Postgraduate Students of the specialties, subspecialties, masters and doctorates taught in our Institution, was held in the Polyvalent Auditorium of the School of Medicine. This event is held within the University Hospital Week, being accompanied by professors, colleagues and relatives of the winners.
The award ceremony was chaired by the following authorities of our institution:
- Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, MD; Principal of the School of Medicine and University Hospital "Dr. José Eleuterio González"
- Felipe Arturo Morales Martínez, MD; Vice-Principal of Postgraduate Studies
- Rodrigo Enrique Elizondo Omaña, DSc; Vice-Principal of Undergraduate Studies of the Bachelor of Medical Surgeon-Obstetrician
- Gloria María González González, DSc; Academic Secretary of the Postgraduate Basic Area
- Fernando Félix Montes Tapia, MD; Academic Secretary of the Postgraduate Clinical Area

The recognitions that are delivered in this ceremony are for the student with a high academic performance and for the outstanding care and research work within our Institution in each of the specialties, subspecialties, masters and doctorates, this time comprising the period 2022; a total of 56 students received a diploma and fistol. The event was attended by Guillermo Jacobo Baca, MD; Master of ceremonies.
