On February 21, 22 and 23 we have the visit of the Mexican Council for Accreditation of Medical Education AC (COMAEM) this in order to evaluate our institution for the 2018 accreditation.

El miércoles 21 de febrero el Rogelio Guillermo Garza Rivera, MSc; Rector de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, recibió al comité evaluador por parte de COMAEM conformado por el Dr. Juan Manuel Carrillo Lucero, el Dr. Arturo García Rillo, la Dra. Marisela Torres Vaca, la Dra. Mayela del Refugio Rodríguez Garza y la Dra. Brillit Nayeli Jaramillo Islas. Después se dirigieron junto con el Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Director de la Facultad de Medicina y Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González”, hacia el Auditorio 2 del HU para la bienvenida y dar inicio oficial con las actividades del programa de evaluación las cuales se basaron en entrevistas con profesores, alumnos, personal administrativo y visita a diferentes áreas del Hospital Universitario, así como de la Facultad de Medicina UANL.

On Friday, February 23, at 12:00 p.m., the COMAEM evaluation committee met with the authorities of the Faculty to deliver the preliminary report where it was announced that of the 217 standards evaluated, 214 of them were fully met. .

According to the preliminary report of the Mexican Council for the Accreditation of Medical Education, AC (COMAEM) obtained satisfactory compliance with 214 (98.6%) of the 217 Indicators evaluated.
