During the morning of last Wednesday, June 16, 2021, the Edelmiro P\u00e9rez Rodr\u00edguez, MD;<\/strong> Director de la Facultad de Medicina y Hospital Universitario “Dr. Jos\u00e9 Eleuterio Gonz\u00e1lez”, en compa\u00f1\u00eda del Rogelio Guillermo Garza Rivera, MSc;<\/strong> Rector of the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Nuevo Le\u00f3n, del <\/span>Santos Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez, MD;<\/strong> Secretario General de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Nuevo Le\u00f3n, del Manuel Enrique De la O Cavazos, MD;<\/strong> Health Secretary of the State of Nuevo Le\u00f3n, entre otras autoridades e invitados, se realizaron las inauguraciones de tres \u00e1reas nuevas que se ubican en nuestra Facultad de Medicina y el Hospital Universitario.<\/span><\/p>\n

Human Milk Bank <\/strong>Olga Maldonado de Saldivar<\/strong><\/p>\n

A space to care for, store and manage breast milk from the University Hospital. It has various logistics spaces and equipment necessary for this type of procedure that will benefit a considerable number of newborns and their families, thus providing a better quality of life from birth.<\/p>\n

    Cardiology Service<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Located on the second floor of the Radiodiagnosis Building; a fully adequate space with state-of-the-art technology for consultation, diagnosis, review, follow-up and procedures for patients with heart disease. It is an innovative area that, in addition to providing service to the community, will serve to train cardiology specialists.<\/p>\n

      Center for Research and Innovation in Medical Virology<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Espacio ubicado en el primer piso de nuestra Facultad de Medicina; se trata de la remodelaci\u00f3n del equipo y \u00e1rea en la que se prev\u00e9 la investigaci\u00f3n de distintos virus como el VPH, la influenza y el COVID-19, adem\u00e1s del desarrollo y creaci\u00f3n de nuevos mecanismos de defensa. La Ana Mar\u00eda Guadalupe Rivas Estilla, DSc;<\/strong> Jefa del Departamento de Bioqu\u00edmica y Medicina Molecular, brind\u00f3 un recorrido por las instalaciones a nuestras autoridades e invitados.<\/p>\n
