He is considered the father of the use of chemotherapy in the country for the treatment of cancer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Gereon R. Fink, MD;\u00a0<\/strong>Internationally recognized for his contributions to neuroscience as Professor and Director of the Cl\u00ednica de Neurociencia of the University of Cologne, Germany. The recognition was delivered virtually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Rom\u00e1n Garza Mercado, MD; (\u2020) <\/strong>Pioneer in the area of neurosurgery in the State of Nuevo Le\u00f3n. Founder of the Neurosurgery Service of the School of Medicine and University Hospital \"Dr. Jos\u00e9 Eleuterio Gonz\u00e1lez\". Humanism in medicine is redefined with attitudes and actions that have characterized great professionals, including our award winners who show interest and respect for their patient.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThese distinctions are considered to recognize talent at a local, national and international level and are delivered in this ceremony within the framework of Doctor's Day and University Hospital Week in Nuevo Le\u00f3n.
