“Our project is called -Formando Superhéroes- which aims to benefit the Multiple Attention Center (CAM): Ana Isabel Uribe Antúnez, located in the CROC neighborhood, in the municipality of Monterrey. This center receives children with different types of disabilities, with the aim that they receive a basic education according to their intellectual and motor skills, trying to provide them with an educational environment in which they can function adequately. We seek to provide incentives to children with disabilities to continue with their studies (school scholarship, school supplies, medical brigades), training programs for family members and teaching staff of the institution (clinical training, workshops for family care, inclusion and gender violence) and program of coexistence with the beneficiaries (program of testimonies, recreational activities and reforestation of the CAM). This great project fulfills 5 areas of interest of Rotary: peace and conflict prevention / resolution, prevention and treatment of diseases, literacy and basic education, economic and integral development of the community and support for the environment ”, he commented Valeria González González, President of the Rotaract Club Faculty of Medicine and student of the 9th semester of Surgeon and Midwife, through a virtual interview.
