Inauguration of three new areas in the University Hospital and School of Medicine
New spaces to provide quality assistance, teaching and research in the institution
During the morning of last Wednesday, June 16, 2021, the Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Director de la Facultad de Medicina y Hospital Universitario “Dr. José Eleuterio González”, en compañía del Rogelio Guillermo Garza Rivera, MSc; Rector of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, del Santos Guzmán López, DM; Secretario General de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, del Manuel Enrique De la O Cavazos, DM; Health Secretary of the State of Nuevo León, entre otras autoridades e invitados, se realizaron las inauguraciones de tres áreas nuevas que se ubican en nuestra Facultad de Medicina y el Hospital Universitario.

A space to care for, store and manage breast milk from the University Hospital. It has various logistics spaces and equipment necessary for this type of procedure that will benefit a considerable number of newborns and their families, thus providing a better quality of life from birth.

Cardiology Service
Located on the second floor of the Radiodiagnosis Building; a fully adequate space with state-of-the-art technology for consultation, diagnosis, review, follow-up and procedures for patients with heart disease. It is an innovative area that, in addition to providing service to the community, will serve to train cardiology specialists.
