Last Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Center of Evaluation and Surgical Medical Training, the workshop on urinary tract infections associated with the use of foley catheters was held by the Student Group Dedicated to Research in Urology (GEIU) in collaboration with the International Section of Undergraduate Students (SINESP). The agenda consisted of a presentation where the types of urinary infections were addressed, followed by a practical workshop on the correct use of the aforementioned catheters; the above by Dr. Rigoberto Pallares Méndez; Resident of the Subspecialty of Urology.

In addition to students and participants, the following authorities were present at the inauguration ceremony:
