Students learn to take and interpret urine cultures by GEEIC

In this workshop it was possible to know the importance of taking and interpreting urine cultures correctly

Last Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., the Student Group for the Prevention and Research of Infectious Diseases (GEEIC), held its workshop entitled "The ABC of urine cultures" at the Center of Evaluation and Surgical Medical Training. In this event, taught by professionals from the Infectology Service, the students were able to learn about the importance of knowing, taking and interpreting urine cultures correctly to avoid contamination, through talks and workshops.

In addition to members of the group and attendees, the following authorities were present at the inaugural ceremony:
