The highest body that accredits medical education in Mexico since 2002 is the Mexican Council for Accreditation of Medical Education, AC (COMAEM) and proudly our Faculty already has such accreditation formally.

Este 10 de agosto del 2018, recibimos al Dr. José de Jesús Villalpando Casas actual presidente del COMAEM en el Auditorio Polivalente, quien otorgó directamente el reconocimiento al Rogelio Guillermo Garza Rivera, MSc; Rector de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, junto al Edelmiro Pérez Rodríguez, DM; Principal of the School of Medicine and University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González", the Rodrigo Enrique Elizondo Omaña, DSc; Subdirector de Estudios de Pregrado de la Licenciatura de Médico Cirujano y Partero, la Emilia Edith Vásquez Farías, MBA; Directora del Sistema de Estudios de Licenciatura de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, el Santos Guzmán López, DM; Secretario Académico de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León y el Guillermo Elizondo Riojas, DSc; Academic Secretary of the Bachelor of Medical Surgeon-Obstetrician.

This accreditation is based on the quality standards and procedures stipulated in the National Accreditation System (SNA), and thanks to the work of teachers, principals and experts who worked together, this appointment was achieved.
