Each year, the Government of the State of Nuevo León through the State Institute of Youth (INJUVE) carries out the call, selection and award of young leaders with residence in the state who have projects or actions that impact society.

On this occasion, the work of 7 young people was recognized in various categories: Education, Entrepreneur, Social Work, Art and Culture, Environmental and Preventive Health; The latter was awarded to a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine.

This is Dr. Alejandro González Aquines, who has the project of the first telemedicine unit for the care of cerebral infarction. In addition, he has won two prizes for research at the 11th World Cerebral Infarction Congress.
