Christmas comes to Medicine with the lighting of the pine tree and Christmas concert
This December 03, the beginning of the Christmas season was celebrated in the School
The spirit of the holidays begins to feel in the halls of the Faculty of Medicine, and to formally start the celebrations and inns, two events were held to share among students, teachers, graduates and workers.
One was the “Christmas for the World” concert by La Sinfonietta of the UANL and directed by Dr. Guillermo Villarreal, who played classical pieces and characteristics of this season. In addition, we had the pleasant participation of soloist Emmanuel Navarrete Juárez, who is a student of our Faculty.
During an hour of repertoire, awards were granted to the director, the solo student and also to Dr. Celso Garza, Secretary of Extension and Culture of the UANL, for making this possible.
At the end of the concert, the attendees moved to the Frontispiece to witness and enjoy the lighting of the mega pine with the representative colors of the Faculty. And some churros and hot chocolate.
