The race of Chemist Clinical-Biologist was founded by the Dr. Roberto Treviño Martínez in 1948, who conceived the idea of creating a career in which the student could learn the theory of the clinical laboratory, within the School of Medicine and carry out their practices in the hospital, because he considered that contact with professors and faculty students, as well as the relationship with the patients of the hospital, would produce in the student of the clinical laboratory, an important advantage when familiarizing him with human diseases, during his learning. This career is founded by the need to prepare human resources capable of performing in the area of health services, through the clinical laboratory, contributing to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

In 2018, QCB turns 70 to train professionals with a solid scientific and competent humanistic preparation worldwide.

For this reason the Directorate of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital “Dr. José Eleuterio González ”has the honor of inviting you to the inauguration of the anniversary celebrations with the “70 years of QCB History Conference”That will take place on Friday, March 23 this year at 10:00 a.m. at Polyvalent Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine.
